icenet launches efficiency upgrade

Recognising the need to inject operational efficiency into organisations, icenet announces the availability of release 2.17 which provides a number of productivity improvements including rules based debit/credit card processing, an automated bank reconciliation function and integration with external print and mail providers.

The rules based debit/credit card processing engine allows users to take recurring or individual payments through the icenet system and interfaces directly to the merchant provider such as Barclaycard rather than using a 3rd party payment processor providing a more cost effective service.

Alex Stephen, icenet’s Chief Executive, commented “At a time when other businesses are cutting back on R&D, icenet continues to invest in technology that is relevant to today’s economic climate and provides our customer base with vital efficiency which translates to competitive advantage.” Continuing “This release is already in use in some of our high volume personal lenders and has resulted in significant improvements.”

The release forms part of icenet’s defined product roadmap which will see the introduction of further functionality targeted to increase lenders’ operational efficiency and provide vital business performance knowledge.
