Thriving business sparks office move | Sept 2008

Prompted by continuous growth in staff numbers since its relocation to Harrogate in 2005, icenet, the instalment lending software specialist has expanded its operation with a move to a new head office at Simpson House in Harrogate.

Local MP Phil Willis officially opened the new head office on the 12th September, joined by the icenet team to celebrate.  Phil Willis commented “I am delighted to see that icenet has thrived in Harrogate over the past three years and has chosen to stay in the town to continue its success.”

Alex Stephen, icenet Chief Executive, commented, “We
re-located our operation to Harrogate in 2005 to take advantage of the large pool of skilled IT resource in the area.  This has allowed us to grow our business rapidly and continue to provide our customers with a high quality service and product.  We realised that our growth plans would require us to have larger premises and I am pleased that we have been able to stay in the town centre and also incorporate our leading edge hosting centre ‘icestation’.
