icenet shifts up a gear | November 2006

In a move to enhance their entire customer loan operation, Lawcross Finance, the finance arm of the sole UK HUMMER franchisee, has recently outsourced its IT to icenet. The Manchester city centre firm, established in 1973, selected the icenet system as the best on the market, in common with other motor finance companies such as Priory Finance, Evolution Funding and North Riding Finance.

Searching for a solution which could handle their growing proposal levels and manage their finance and lease portfolio, Susan Lees, Director at Lawcross Finance commented “We were looking for a robust system, which managed our whole process from solicitation through to collections and crucially, provide a comprehensive customer relationship management function which would help us with customer acquisition and re-marketing” Susan continued “The icenet solution was selected on its ability to deliver on all of those requirements and will allow us to provide an even higher level of service upon which our business relies”.

Alex Stephen, Chief Executive, icenet commented “Lawcross were quick to identify the benefits and efficiencies that the icenet system will bring to their business. Users will be able to make amendments to an application at any point, which can then be automatically uploaded to the client’s record, improving productivity and service levels” Alex continues “having this information available to the customer service team will mean faster turnaround times”.

Outside of the motor finance marketplace, icenet continues its expansion with asset brokers and lender implementations. “Our significant R&D investment is certainly paying off” commented Alex “in addition to signing up more customers that in any previous year, we are also able to implement rapidly, typically in weeks rather than months which means new customers can get the functional benefits from icenet very soon after selecting us”.

Lawcross Finance is expected to go live with the hosted icenet system in early 2007.
