icenet reveals new identity | July 2006
icenet is celebrating the launch of a new company identity, which includes the name change from ICE-SYS to icenet.

The launch of icenet marks the 9th birthday of the company and signifies a significant milestone on the way to achieving our strategic objective of being one of the UK’s leading instalment lending software specialists. Alex Stephen, Chief Executive commented  “We wanted to keep an element of the original name of the company, but add a new aspect to signify this new stage in our development. The new name and design of the identity demonstrates our belief in the increasingly equal importance of icenet software and our desire to create a networked community of users.”

Lynsey Henry, Marketing Manager explains “Several years on, the old ICE-SYS identity was beginning to look dated; this new logo gives us a contemporary image which reflects the energetic, ambitious and creative culture of the company. Not only are we are creating new marketing literature as part of this process, but we also intend to establish a personality around the brand, by using exciting language and formats that you wouldn’t normally come across in the software industry.”

The new website will be re-launched with a new domain name icenet.co.uk in line with our new identity, improved design and updated content. The key to the design of the site is simplicity “With the new structured and streamlined content, we’ve been able to use a great deal of space in the design of the website, which has proved to be a very effective means of getting our messages across. This approach, teamed with a predominately two colour palette has resulted in a striking and clean design in line with our corporate branding,” commented Lynsey Henry.
