icenet provides specialist solution for home collected credit industry | February 2006
Feburary 2006, ICE announces the extension of its product suite to support organisations providing home collected credit.

Chief Executive Alex Stephen commented "We have been following the development of this market for some time now and in particular the likely changes that the current Competition Commission investigation is likely to bring. Although the Commission has yet to report its findings and recommendations, we believe that their review will provide small to medium sized businesses with an opportunity to compete effectively with the larger players. In order to capitalise on this opportunity lenders must have access to a early functional cost effective systems, something we believe is missing in today's market, hence our entry."

The ICE solution is fully scaleable from a single user through to organisations with a substantial collecting agency base and is able to support the following products:
Weekly collected credit
• Paid in advance accounts
• Cheque cashing
• Payday loans
• Direct debit loans
In common with the other ICE applications, users will have access to extensive functionality to provide comprehensive up to the minute management information as well as a whole host of other benefits including functionality to enable full compliance with the Competition Commission's findings. "Although we only publicised our intention to enter this market very recently to a small group of organisations, the level of interest exhibited has been exceptionally high and we have already secured a significant customer base for the product" added Alex.
