Lending systems on demand | December 2005 “We see the market increasingly moving towards solutions which can be up and running in a matter of weeks. Our hosting environment allows us to satisfy that requirement and gives us the ability to implement projects easily, without customers getting involved in any of the difficulties that complicated technical installations bring. Simply put, we can sort out the IT platform allowing them to concentrate on their core business” Alex Stephen, Chief Executive, ICE explains. All our sales in 2005 have been fully hosted solutions, which is part of our long term strategy to gain a mix of hosting and traditional license sales which provides a more stable recurring revenue stream. “This strategy is already proving successful and we will continue to build recurring revenue in this way throughout 2006 Alex continues.” ICE's strategy to offer its solution in the optional on demandmodel, is an intelligent move towards sustaining the growth of the company. A recent survey in the UK concluded that the global revenues for online software rental companies is currently growing at 22 % per year and will reach just under $4bn by 2009. This compares to the traditional corporate software licence market, which is currently showing growth of 7%.
