icenet, the specialist instalment lending system is pleased to announce that it has entered into a long term contract to provide its hosted ICE-broker solution to Lease UK, a significant asset finance broker operating in the sales support, primary health-care and middle ticket markets.

Commenting on the agreement, Alastair Lawson, Lease UK’s Chairman said “We recognised that we needed to leave our IT support in the hands of the experts, and after engaging external consultants to assist with our evaluation project, it was apparent that ICE had both the most suitable software for our needs and the ability to support our aggressive growth plans. Initially we were planning to have the software implemented on our own servers, though we quickly realised that a fully hosted solution was not only more cost effective, but also would allow us to focus on our core competency – structuring and arranging tailor-made finance solutions for a wide range of corporates”.

“We are delighted to be able to support Lease UK’s growth plans and our experience with similar organisation suggests that they will have a rapid return on their systems investment” stated Alex Stephen, ICE’s Chief Executive, adding “Lease UK is a specialist broker which trades upon the quality of the service it provides; in common with other businesses, the transition from one operating platform to another is a critical activity, though fortunately is one which we are very experienced of managing”.

The contract with Lease UK comes swiftly after the live implementation of the ICE-broker solution for North Riding Finance one of the UK’s largest motor finance brokers..
